Think about it. Since the day you were born, you have had to communicate with the world. You cried to show that you are hungry, cold, hot or sad. As you grew up, your communication became more complex, you smile and dance to show you are happy, you frown to show you are angry, you use words to say how you feel or to convey information, you use emojis, GIFs, memes on facebook and whats app to display different messages.

Communication is part of the human experience. Good communicators can win peoples' votes, influence change, get good jobs and sell products. This module aims to equip you with skills required for effective technical and business communication. Such skills will be essential in your academic and professional life. You will explore topics such as communication theory; nonverbal communication; oral and visual communication; business writing; and technical writing

At the end of the module, you should be able to
