CAVC -220 introduces students to the application of computers in generating and simulating three dimensional (3D) models of components as a tool for enhancing the visualization of abstract components. Furthermore, the module introduces you to the application of the computer for numerical computations
Learning Outcomes
On completion of this module, the student should be able to:
1. Use basic 3-D CAD application on drawing
2. Design and draw engineering components
3. Analyze complex engineering geometry of components
4. Use SolidWorks flow simulation to analyze fluid flow, analyze stresses and strains and other engineering systems
5. Perform complex mathematical, physical, control systems calculation using Matlab
